Lone Mørch, writer, photographer, and speaker is our first writer-in-residence and will be staying at WordSpace at the start of the month.

More about Lone:Lone Mørch is an award-winning author, photographer and creative mentor, whose work lives at the intersection of art, body, identity, culture and change. A Danish native, she has lived and worked in Asia, Europe and USA as a film producer, development associate and educational team leader. The founder of Lolo’s Boudoir, she has helped a 1000 women find healing and self-discovery through her photography. Her work includes the book Embody about her photographic work with women and her award-winning memoir Seeing Red: A Woman’s Quest for Truth, Power and the Sacred. Her essays and photos have been featured internationally in InStyle, Cosmopolitan, People’s Mag, SF Chronicle Magazine, Huffington Post, Light Journal, etc. In 2018 she spoke at TEDxAarhus about the power of the gaze and the therapeutic potential of photography.  More at lonemorch.com 

Our next writer-in-residence is Martha Grover, author of One More for the People and The End of My Career, who will be staying with us in April and teaching a class on the micro-essay!
