We are excited to grant another 5 residencies this year. These residencies are free of charge and include a week stay in the SF location in a lovely setting in the heart of the city. We strive to help writers give themselves the time and space needed to delve into their writing projects. Our past residents have spent their time fine-tuning their books, starting on new projects, or simply clearing away everyday distractions to focus on getting back into their writing life.
We know that for many of us it’s nearly impossible to set aside time just to write; we are looking to provide the space and support for those who can make the best use of what we have to offer.
Applications should include:
- A letter detailing your writing background and intent for the residency.
- Some thoughts on how this residency would help you achieve your writing goals.
- Your interest in holding a salon reading and/or teaching a class.
- A writing sample of any length.
